Surfcat Café & Adoptions is an emerging Cat Adoption Center in the Ventura County area. We do not have a permanent business location yet, but Surfcat Café & Adoptions has huge aspirations for our cats and our center. Find out more about the team behind Surfcat here!
Great Question! We will use your donations to establish our roots in Ventura and further our mission of helping cats find their forever homes. Once our center is established we aspire to be more than just a Cat Shelter or a lounge. We are dedicated to furthering local education around cat care, and responsible animal stewardship. We will be acquiring extra space so that we can host community events. Here are a few examples, story hours for children, Cat Mat Yoga, Movie Night, Open Mic nights, business meetings and pretty much anything else you can think of!
We will also have our own thrift store, “Da Kine Finds” to support our on-going operations. Some of the items featured will be surf, beach, and ocean related recycled and repurposed treasures, clothing, used surf gear, memorabilia, and more!!!!
