They say that when the weather cools down kitten season should slowly come to an end. That may be true in some areas but certainly not in Southern California. As kittens stream into our local shelter daily the adult cats languish in small cages in hopes of finding a home.

Surfcat has rescued several senior cats during the past few weeks. As these kitties settle in to their foster homes, we are taking them to the vet to make sure that they are healthy and pain free. What we’ve discovered is that several need medical and dental procedures.
